About these terms
These terms apply to the PROTQ website and sourcing service, operated by Alpine Hire (“we”, “us”). By sending a brief or subscribing to a plan, you agree to them on behalf of your agency. Questions? Email hello@protq.com.
The free search
Each agency can request one free pilot search. We review every brief first and may decline one that does not fit the pilot. No card is required, and paid plans never start automatically.
Paid plans
Monthly plans include a set number of role searches per month, as shown on our pricing section. Early Bird prices apply during our launch. You can cancel before your next renewal, and there are no placement fees.
What a search includes
- One search covers one role and an agreed market.
- You receive up to 50 researched profiles, delivered as a PDF and CSV. We may deliver fewer when the available evidence is limited; we do not pad a list to reach a number.
- Each search includes one refinement of the original brief. A different role, location or a substantially changed brief counts as a new search.
- During the pilot we aim to deliver by the next business day after confirming your brief. Timing is a goal, not a guarantee, and we will tell you if a narrow search needs longer.
What we don’t do
PROTQ is a research service. We do not contact candidates, confirm their interest, availability or salary expectations, or guarantee a placement. Our research is based on information available at the time and may be incomplete or out of date, so please verify key details before relying on them.
Your responsibilities
- Only send briefs you are allowed to share, and leave out confidential client details.
- Use shortlists for your agency’s own recruiting work, and do not resell them.
- Follow the employment, anti-discrimination and data protection laws that apply to you, including when you contact candidates.
Liability
We provide the service with care, but “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us for the service in the three months before the claim.
Changes
We may update these terms as PROTQ grows. If we make a material change, we will update this page and the date at the top, and tell subscribers by email.
